Strategic Partnership with PT Fortuna Marina Sejahtera for Coal Loading and Unloading Operations in Palembang

A strategic partnership has been established between one of the coal supply partners of PT Nexis Energi Investama (NEI) with PT Fortuna Marina Sejahtera as the owner of a loading and unloading port facility in Palembang City, South Sumatra on July 15, 2021 which is designed to last for three years and reflects the long-term commitment of both companies in building an efficient, competitive and sustainable energy distribution system. This initiative is also a strategic step in strengthening the coal logistics chain in the Sumatra region. 

To support the smooth operation, the loading facility located in Keramasan Village, Kertapati Subdistrict, Palembang City, provides a coal receiving and stacking area, a berthing dock for the loading process, as well as loading facilities that can be done through a conveyor system or manual method as needed. The synergy between BPAC and PT Fortuna Marina Sejahtera, reflects a joint commitment in building an efficient, integrated and sustainable energy distribution system.

Through this collaboration, NEI plays a role in encouraging the smooth supply chain from the mine to the destination market, while supporting local economic growth in the Kertapati area and its surroundings.
