Strategic Partnership with PT Fortuna Marina Sejahtera for Coal Loading and Unloading Operations in Palembang
A strategic partnership has been established between one of PT Nexis Energi Investama’s (NEI) coal supply partners and PT Fortuna Marina Sejahtera, the owner of a loading and unloading port facility in Palembang City, South Sumatra. Signed on July 15, 2021, the agreement is designed to last for three years and reflects the long-term commitment of both companies to developing an efficient, competitive, and sustainable energy distribution system. This initiative also represents a strategic step in strengthening the coal logistics chain across the Sumatra region.
To support smooth operations, the loading facility, located in Keramasan Village, Kertapati District, Palembang City, features a coal receiving and stockpiling area, a docking pier for loading operations, and loading systems that can be carried out either via conveyor or manual methods as needed. The synergy between BPAC and Fortuna Marina Sejahtera demonstrates a shared commitment to building an efficient, integrated, and sustainable energy distribution system.
Through this collaboration, NEI plays an active role in ensuring a seamless supply chain from mine to market while contributing to the local economic growth of Kertapati and its surrounding areas.
